Young Danish endurance racer Christian Stubbe Olsen has confirmed his core 2019 race programme and will join 2018 European Le Mans Series (ELMS) LMP3 Championship winning team RLR MSport for its title defence.

Christian, who lives and studies in London, will therefore continue into a second season in the hotly contested ELMS LMP3 class after a learning year with Ecurie Ecosse / Nielsen Racing that saw speed and consistency emerging rapidly, three second place finishes and fourth in the Championship standings.
Christian will share an RLR MSport-run Ligier JS P3 sports prototype for the full six race Championship with fellow young Dane Martin Vedel and experienced British Gentleman racer Martin Rich
The ELMS will again visit six top class European venues including the Formula One circuits at Silverstone, Barcelona, Spa Francorchamps, Paul Ricard and Monza.
Christian Olsen: “I am already familiar with the team, it was with them that I had my first experience in an LMP3 car in testing over a year ago and am really looking forward to getting to know them better and see how they work.
“For me, as much experience as I can get at this stage, the better. RLR MSport have clearly shown their discipline and capability at this level and that, coupled with the driver line-up, should be a formula for a successful season where we will be gunning for a win at every round.
“I am super excited to meet and work with the two Martins as I am sure there is a multitude of things to learn from one another.
“It will be particularly good to work alongside Martin – we are both part of a new generation of Danish endurance racers. I hope we can continue a story for our country of racing success on the biggest stages in the near future.”
