Composite World-backed Christian Olsen will start tomorrow’s Asian Le Mans Series race at the Fuji Speedway from sixth on the grid.

Olsen was in the car for Qualifying earlier today, driving the #7 Ecurie Ecosse / Nielsen Racing Ligier JS P3, and secured a spot on the third row with a 1:36.838. It was a frantic session, in which multiple cars had laps deleted throughout, and the running order changed right until the flag fell at the end.

This came after Olsen got his first taste of the Japanese circuit through testing and the two Free Practice sessions at the circuit. He and his teammate Nick Adcock spent much of the running ensuring that the car will react well to the cold temperatures experienced trackside.

Tomorrow’s 4 Hours of Fuji, at the world famous Fuji Speedway, is set to start at 12:00 local time and can be streamed on asianlemansseries.com.
