OLSEN PRIMED FOR SECOND ASIAN LE MANS START IN JAPAN

Christian Olsen’s debut Asian Le Mans Series – Official campaign continues this weekend, at the world-famous Fuji International Speedway in Japan.

In what is his first trip to the ‘Land of the Rising Sun’, the young Dane will be looking to build off his strong fifth-place finish last month in his Asian LMS debut in Shanghai.

He’ll be driving the #7 again with Nick Adcock, the pair looking to continue to prove themselves as one of the strongest pairings in the series’ hotly contested LMP3 class.

The Fuji International Speedway is one of the most picturesque circuits in the world, as it sits at the base of Mount Fuji. It’s a varied circuit, with a mix of slow and medium speed corners, connected by one of the longest pit straights in motorsports – a whopping 1.475km in length.

Since it was built in the early ’60s, it’s played host to a variety of world-class motorsport events each year, including Formula One, Super GT and the World Endurance Championship.

Qualifying on Saturday for LMP3 runners will start at 14:50. Then on Sunday, the four-hour race is set to start at 12:00 local time in Japan. Both can be streamed for free on asianlemansseries.com
